Post-Modern Connection releases Drowning

Drowning combines strong Doo-Wop elements with soulful vocals and classic violin. It’s an intricate blend of sound and was released with an incredible video to match.

The video was shot and directed by Teaghan McGinnis, a successful photographer and videographer who has toured the world with various artists on indie and major labels.

Over the last 3 years Post Modern Connection has been growing with no end in sight. With an evolving sound and audience on the rise globally, the band is on course to make their mark on the scene. From main-stages and headlining festivals, performing as part of the global SoFar Sounds and winning multiple awards, to being featured on major playlists including Universal Group’s Digster and Brazil’s Minuto Indie.

Post-Modern Connection’s soundscape is endless. Their songwriting pairs thoughtful lyrics and carefully crafted dynamics. Soulful RnB infused vocals meet catchy indie-pop riffs – electronic synths paired with classical violin – Post Modern Connection’s ability to play with dynamics is clear. Nowhere is this more apparent than on their latest single, “Drowning”.
