Blue is a track from Melis’ EP, “Apex”. On this track, Melis explores our collective addiction to social media and highlights the dark sides of it. The title “Blue” stands for the blue light, a metaphor for her phone, which – no matter how hard she tries – she can’t escape.

Blue is Melis’ take on internet culture and the anxieties it triggers in many of us including the singer and songwriter herself. The song sheds light at the issues that our addiction to social media presents and the distorted picture that all of us to some degree put on whilst practically living our lives online.

Melis has written and produced this track along with her collaborator Yasha who’s debut single “Under Pillow” premiered on Wonderland.
